Information we process
Files you verify
When you verify an image, the file is read and analysed entirely inside your own browser using WebAssembly. Your file is never uploaded to our servers and we never store it. Once you close the page, no copy of your file remains with us.
Server logs
Like almost every website, our hosting provider may automatically record standard server logs — such as your IP address, browser type, and the date and time of a request — for security and operational purposes. These logs are kept only as long as necessary and are not used to identify you personally.
Local storage
We store your language preference in your browser’s local storage. This is not a cookie and is never shared. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings.
Third-party services
We load fonts from Google Fonts. Google may receive your IP address when your browser fetches the fonts. We do not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies.
How we use information
We use server logs solely to keep the site running securely and to diagnose problems. We do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent any information.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold. Because we do not store your verified files and keep only brief server logs, there is usually little to act on — but you can always contact us at [email protected] to exercise your rights.
Children
VerifyC2PA is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes are reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
